About TechJutsu.
TechJutsu builds identity security products and services that help enterprises extend trust beyond login and into the moments where identity risk actually happens.
From help desk calls and account recovery to customer interactions, collaboration tools, and AI-assisted support workflows, our work focuses on one thing: helping organizations verify the right person or organization before taking sensitive action.

Get to know who’s on the other line.
The TechJutsu group of companies was founded in 2015 by Tracey Nyholt. After a decades-long career as an identity and access management architect, Tracey hit a ceiling. Believing she shouldn’t be limited, she created TechJutsu to reach for the stars.
Tracey, a martial artist, chose the name TechJutsu because “Jutsu” means skill in Japanese. So our company name literally translates to Technical Skill. TechJutsu began as an organization of the most skilled identity architects and implementers around. It quickly grew into much more.
In 2020, our award-winning CallerVerify product was born out of a real customer challenge. After TechJutsu successfully implemented MFA to secure one Alberta financial institution’s online and mobile banking, the client posed a new question: could we do something similar to secure their call centre? Today, Caller Verify is trusted by enterprises across financial services, healthcare, energy, and technology in North America, with growing customer interest in the UK and Europe.
TechJutsu operates across North America and is incorporated in both Alberta and Delaware.
What we set out to build.
Most identity tools were built to protect login. TechJutsu was built to protect the moments that follow.
Our team came from identity architecture before we came from product. That order matters. It means we design for the realities of enterprise environments: the identity provider you already use, the CRM your support team already opens, the service desk your agents already work in, and the regulatory pressure your organization already manages.
Our mission is simple to state and hard to do well: build identity security that fits inside the way your business already works.
That means products powerful enough for enterprise security teams, practical enough for support teams, and quiet enough that users can verify themselves without adding unnecessary friction.
We believe trust should not stop at login. It should follow the interaction.

Behind the products: actual humans.
From freestyle frisbee lovers to motorcycle enthusiasts, our team is made up of people with diverse backgrounds, hobbies, and cultures. What unites us? A shared belief that good identity security should make people’s lives easier every day.
TechJutsu team is also unapologetically a team of pet people. Between us, we have more than two dozen pets at home: cats, dogs, a hamster, multiple fish, and 25 chickens and chicks. The last ones are arguably the most opinionated members of the team.
TechJutsu for good.
Doing meaningful work isn’t only about products and revenue. TechJutsu supports causes that align with our values: animal welfare, environmental responsibility, and community engagement.
On the environmental side, TechJutsu is a fully remote organization. Our team’s commute is from the kitchen to the home office. The reduced carbon footprint is part of how we choose to operate.
An employee volunteer program supports individual team members in giving back to causes they personally care about. A company is also defined by what it gives back. We try to give back well.
